Inauguration of Students' Council for 2016-2017

Students’ Council of Besant National PU College was inaugurated by SriGurushanthappa, ex-serviceman and Lecturer in History at Government PreUniversity College, Hejamady, Udupi district. In his inauguration address afterlighting the lamp, he said: “Instead of chasing imaginary dreams, if studentsunderstand the reality and plan for their future career, life will be happy forthem. Students Council provides the means for developing one’s leadershipabilities and they should learn qualities like dedication and patience.”

Principal of the college Smt. Ashalatha P. welcomed the gathering. Smt.Gayathri Shetty, senior Lecturer in History and Welfare Officer of the StudentsCouncil introduced the chief guest. Smt. Beena K., senior Lecturer in Commerceand Welfare Officer of the Students Council administered the oath taking.

Students Council President Akshaya J. Kotian expressed gratitude for electingthe council. College correspondent Sri Suresh Mallya, Secretary of theStudents Council Pratham P. Bhandary, P. Keerthan Prabhu, Akash Jose werepresent on the dais.
