Orientation Programme for II PU Students

Besant National Pre-University College organised Orientation Programme forSecond year P.U. Students of the academic year 2017-18, on 01.06.2017, atBesant Women’s College Auditorium.

The renowned environmentalist and educationalist Smt. Lalitha G. Mallya, asbeing resource person of the programme addressed the students by saying thatthe students must attend the classes regularly and listen the classesattentively. They should note down all the important point and should discussabout those points by making small groups among them. She added that thestudents must remain aloof from Mobiles and Social Medias in order to get goodmarks.

She further told that the development of the students in education depends ontriangular Hardwork of three, students-teacher-parents. And interest forstudies in students should be an intrinsic interest.

The guests of the programme were welcomed by the principal of the college, Smt.Ashalatha P., Dr. Nayak Rupasingh G., the Senior Lecturer in Hindi, hadintroduced the rules & regulation to the gathers.

The students, N. Sanjay Bandodkar from Commerce, and Sheethal from Science whoachieved the first place in college by being topper in II PU Annual Exam sharedtheir experience and feelings about the college.

The secretary of WNES, Sri. Sham Sundar Kamath and the Correspondent of BesantWomen’s College, Sri. Devanand Pai gave useful advice to the parents.

The correspondent of Besant National P.U. Collge, Sri. M. Suresh N. Mallya waspresent in the programme. The Programme was conducted by Smt.Gayathri Shetty, Lecturer in History.
